I like them a lot - I agree with your assessment of the Foundry Russians. Got a regiment or two myself and would like a lot, lot more! Nice clean job - those happy-go-lucky songsters will give the French no end of trouble!

Reminds me of the great 1970's BBC series War and Peace. At the time I collected a Minifigs Russian army (still have it in the loft).
