Duchy of Warsaw Hussars

Hello

At long last the superb Polish hussars.

They are mounted on a sheepskin saddle as my research says thats what they used on campaign so here we have it. No carbines as they didnt have enough to go round.

These are now available. Contact details on the Murawski Miniatures website.

By the way: if you are on Facebook please "like" and "follow" us - Murawski Miniatures.

Hope you like the pictures.

This shows my Poles and some command vignettes I have painted. Not about the hussars but I like the picture!

We are adding a new range of 28mm Napoleonic infantry covering Baden. The first releases are suited for the period 1809-1812 and if they prove popular we will add infantry more suitable for the period 1813/14, and then move onto other figures.

They are now available but arent on the website yet.  If you are interested please contact me via the contact section of the Murawski Miniatures website: murawskiminiatures.com

Dutch Belgian contingent at Waterloo

During our recent "little" Waterloo refight some of the star performers were the Dutch Belgians ( except the light cavalry who refused to charge......................).

I painted this little lot in about 6 weeks and nearly killed myself doing so.  Most of the bases aren't finished and the cavalry still need some work but all-in-all I am happy with them, and their contribution to stopping Napoleon!

All figures are Perry. Hope you like the pictures.

Brunswick units at our Waterloo game

For some daft reason I insisted on painting the Brunswickers for Waterloo. This consisted of:

Command bases
Foot artillery battery
Avant Garde and Jaegars
Lieb Garde
Line and light infantry
Uhlans and hussars

As they werent under my command they of course performed heroically and held up an entire French infantry division with a cavalry brigade, and artillery, for the entire battle!

Figures are all excellent Perry miniatures. Hope you enjoy the pictures:
