Krakus & divisional command

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr f*cking google and their plans for world domination. I bit the bullet and added the pictures to Picassa.

Please see the Krakus ( you need 3,000+ of these for 1813-14!!!) and Polish divisional command.

 Officer and standard bearer
 Krakus 1
 ADC & General de Division
There have been some comments about the size of the horses due to one quote from Napoleon about them being "pygmies" before Bautzen. Well, all I can say is that the plates I've seen show Krakus uniformed and on light cavalry horses.  Due to their success as battle cavalry I would assume there were differnces between "peasant"" troops who brough their own ponies and those who were mounted in line horses.
I've gone with the line horses and I am happy with the result.
 General and ADC

Hope you like them; they are available from me now. Uhlan's should be ready before too long.

  1. Great stuff! Marvelous additions to your Polish range.

  2. Thanks Roger, great inclusion for the Duchy of Warsaw.

  3. Too kind. Hope to get some painted up in a week or two.

  4. Bloody marvelous Sir! Good news about the Uhlans and really looking forward to the General & ADC. I'll look forward to seeing the Krakus painted up. Great figures Roger.
